Your worlds in your hands, forever.
Atlas is a virtual tabletop inside Obsidian. Your battle maps, tokens, fog of war and dice sit beside your campaign notes, as files in your own vault. There is nothing to sign up for.
Desktop only. Or get it from GitHub and say hello on Discord.

Why Atlas
Free, open and hackable
Atlas costs nothing, at home, on stream or at a paid table. It is open source under the AGPL licence, so you can change the code to suit your game.
Everything you make is yours
Your maps, tokens and scenes are files in your own vault. There is no licence between you and your work: keep it for good and share it with anyone, as often as you like.
Built for world building
Atlas lives in Obsidian, in the same vault as your campaign notes, so your world and your table are one place. Any Obsidian theme changes its look, and thousands of community plugins add what you still miss.
What it does
Scenes
Any map image becomes a scene
Drop in a battle map. Atlas finds its square or hex grid for you, so tokens snap to the right squares from the start.
Make a scene from a mapTokens
Tokens from your statblocks
Keep your creatures in Fantasy Statblocks. Atlas turns them into tokens and shows the statblock when you point at one.
Use Fantasy Statblocks with AtlasNotes
Your notes, on the map
Pin a note to a room or a hex. Click the pin during play to read or edit the note without leaving the map.
Link notes to the mapDM screen
Never lose the big picture
Press Tab. Your adventure note opens beside the statblock of every creature on the map. Change hit points there, or click a creature to jump to it.
The DM screenAnd at the table
Fog of war
Paint fog, then reveal the map room by room.
Player view
A second window for the screen your players see.
Dice
Throw dice on the map from the tray or a statblock, and keep a log of every roll.
Initiative
Track turn order right on the map.
Widgets
Counters, clocks and timers for any rule.
Game systems
Presets for D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Daggerheart, Shadowdark, OSE, Call of Cthulhu and Cyberpunk RED.
Theme
Notes like an old adventure module
The Atlas VTT theme for Obsidian sets your notes on parchment, with red headings and boxed text to read aloud. Ivy grows over the panels of Atlas.
